Our Vision?
“The Delivery Partnership recognises and acknowledges that the local community genuinely want to be part of the regeneration and localisation process. Underpinning, this will be our work in consulting, engaging and involving the community in operational and strategic structures, Theme Group structures, focus groups and forums, community events, capacity building, and in shaping and monitoring how we deliver our services”
What are our aims?
The Community Leadership theme is to develop, co-ordinate and deliver localised consultation activities, leadership and outreach programmes; including supporting Delivery Partnership objectives through the Community Leadership Theme Group and supporting capacity building and development work with grassroots groups and community-based projects; programmes including cross cutting initiatives. Community Leadership activities and work programme is measurable against four High Level Outcomes ( HLOs). These are as follows:
- Engaging residents to influence the decision making process in the Aston Pride
NDC area
- Engaging local people, co-ordinating and undertaking capacity building work with the community, faith groups and voluntary sector
- Involvement of residents in activities, projects and initiatives organised by Aston Pride NDC
- Cross sector and thematic working for making the Aston Pride NDC area a better place to live
