Service Birmingham 'Customer Service Advisor' Job Opportunities

The Employment Access Team are running another recruitment campaign for 48 Customer Service Advisors on behalf of Service Birmingham. These posts are based at either Fort Dunlop, Erdington or Waterlinks, Aston. I have attached a detailed 'Schedule' outlining the recruitment process, the job advertisement, JD role profile and application forms.

This recruitment is targeting priority SOA areas in the first instance, however applications from non priority SOA areas in Birmingham will be considered.

At the Open Day your clients will be expected to complete level 2 literacy & numeracy tests. It is therefore imperative that you are mindful of this when making referrals. Please ensure that you use the following indicators in selecting clients for this opportunity:

Skills
Excellent Listening Skills
Must be Clear & Concise
Polite and attentive telephone manner
Excellent verbal & written communications
Good Time Management
Accurate Keyboard Skills
Firm control of the calls with good opening, translating and closing skills
Display confidence in their communication
Be willing and able to work without supervision

Behaviour
Flexible approach to work and problem solving
Have empathy with distressed and upset callers
Be aware of your performance and aim to be efficient
Show respect to callers at all times - especially when they are being difficult
To be adaptable to change in a consistently shifting environment

The EAT 'Expression of Interest form' should be returned to EAT by the latest 13:00 pm FRIDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2010.

The 'Service Birmingham application form' must be completed and taken by your client to the ASSESSMENT & INTERVIEW SESSIONS.
